A real estate developer and urban planner, Harry F. Chaddick (1902-1994) was born on the near West Side of Chicago. He operated a successful trucking business, and built a comprehensive system of trucking terminals on Chicago's West Side. As Chicago's director of zoning, he guided the re-zoning of Chicago in 1957.
